Leo van Veen
Leo van Veen (1955) began his career as an information technician in the banking world. He quickly came to the conclusion that the installation of IT is only successful if the people involved in those organizations saw its value and were prepared to change accordingly. He built up a successful practice at Twynstra Gudde as organizational advisor, and directed the IT advice practice in his role as a managing partner. In autumn of 2005, Leo became a partner at hgrv.
Projects about policy, strategy, management and organization interest him. Due to his knowledge and experience he is in a good position to build a bridge between IT and business and he has knowledge of both worlds and communicates in both languages.
He wants to help organizations and people. He unravels complex situations, helping to set a course of proceedings and developing results-orientated solutions in conjunction with his clients, while switching effortlessly between the different organizational levels. Ambition and enthusiasm, a critical, open character, a good feel for proportion and a healthy dose of humour are Leo’s trademarks.
Leo does and has done projects at companies such as ABP, Sociale Verzekeringsbank, Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, Robeco, International Card Services, CB&I Lummus and Flora Holland.
